he Minburn County Fire Department (MCFD) consists of 29 paid on call firefighters across 2 fire stations (Villages of Innisfree and Mannville) 1 full time public safety officer, and 1 full time Regional Fire Chief, Mike Fundytus. MCFD was formed in 2022, amalgamating the Villages of Mannville and Innisfree fire departments. MCFD provides fire and emergency services from the County of Minburn eastern border to Hwy 36.

We are committed to protecting life, property, and the environment of our community through the delivery of fire suppression, fire prevention, medical first response, and rescue services.

Recruiting for On-Call Paid Firefighters!

We have a current high need for daytime on-call availability and individuals who live in or are close to Mannville. Our firefighters are vital members of our community team, serving the County of Minburn, Village of Mannville, and Village of Innisfree. They respond to fires, rescues, medical aid, hazardous materials incidents, and more, providing crucial support to the public. With around 200 events annually, our firefighters are always ready to help. Beyond emergencies, they generously volunteer their time for community activities. We pay for our firefighters to be extensively trained to national standards, ensuring they can operate effectively and independently. They come from diverse backgrounds, including school teachers, tradespeople, and farmers.
