Through the grant approval of the Alberta Community Partnership Program - Intermunicipal Collaboration Component, the County of Minburn and Village of Mannville collaborated throughout 2022-2023 to develop the County of Minburn-Village of Mannville East Industrial Park Joint ASP.
The East Industrial Park (EIP) ASP study area is located immediately east of the Village of Mannville in the County of Minburn comprising approximately 120 Ha (300 acres) of land. The ASP location is also adjacent to Yellowhead Highway 16. There is accessibility to MCSNet's high speed fiber optic cable running within the Highway 16 right of way, adjacent to the EIP ASP. 
The intent of the ASP is to promote the area for non-residential development to investors by undertaking the preliminary planning and analysis required for future development. The ASP provides valuable information for investors including a preliminary biophysical assessment, geotechnical investigation, transportation overview, stormwater management plans and servicing review.
The future Land Use Concept proposes a rural industrial park development with hybrid servicing options. Although a range of parcel sizes are envisioned, they can be configured to suit at the time of subdivision.
